Eleonora Valko, born in Sparta, lived in Athens, Greece, before immigrating to the United States. After graduating, she worked as a paralegal in a Piraeus Law office in Greece.

Married in Athens in 1963 to surviving spouse William G. Valko, she resided first in Dover, DE and then in the Greater Philadelphia area. There, she served as a Greek language instructor at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. George in Philadelphia. In the decades following, she was an active participant at St. Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church in Broomall, PA.

Both, she and her husband, were associated with Belar Electronics, in Devon, PA around this time. In addition to her husband William, she is survived by many nieces and nephews in both Greece and the United States.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing which will be held from 10 am to 11 am Wednesday, August 24, at St Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church, 35 N. Malin Rd Broomall, Pa 19008. Her funeral service will follow at 11 am in the church. Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill.
