Philadelphia, PA – My Big Fat Greek Festival part two was hosted at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox church on Bustleton avenue this past weekend. The only question I was trying to figure out, was which of the two Greek food festivals they host is better. There’s one at the beginning of summer and one at the end.
I leave that up to those who attend each year to judge. As for me, I go to both and leave smiling and totally satisfied. Not only is the food great, but the people are just as authentic and charming. Walking around the church parking lot and inside the kitchen I see Greek, hear Greek and speak Greek. If I close my eyes at this festival, I really can’t tell the difference.
