John Trikeriotis of “The Hellenic Warriors” (Living History Group) spoke at a lecture at Drexel University last week, on the topic “300 revisited: Fact and fiction in Hollywood’s depiction of the Battle of Thermoplylae”. Trikeriotis a member of the archaeological group “The Leonidas Expeditions. also shared authentic armor and weapons which were used by the ancient Greek warriors 2,500 years ago in one of history’s great last stands. What a treat for the students standing by.

Many students stood by waiting their turn to examine and handle first hand the replica equipment. The event was organized by Maria Hnaraki Director of Greek Studies and sponsored by the Greek Studies program of Drexel Univesity.
