The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association held it’s annual “Capitol Hill Day” in Washington DC this past Wednesday. The event kicked off with a Friday reception on the rooftop of AHEPA Headquarters. On Saturday, members of the AHEPA community in attendance had the opportunity to meet with their members of Congress and senators from their congressional districts, to discuss topics of importance to the Hellenic American community. The day concluded with a “Salute to Civic Responsibility” dinner that honored U.S. Congressmen John Sarbanes and Ed Royce and Community Leaders Panicos Papanicolaou and Nick Larigakis.
