Hurry down to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Sunday. It’s the last day of their mini-festival and the baklavas perfect. I tried the kataifi and the galaktoboureko just before it ran out on Friday night. They’re baking up a fresh tray after church. Doors will open afternoon at their community center. Moussaka, pastitsio, chicken platter and all the traditional Greek foods we love will be homemade and served fresh. How about spanakopita, souvlaki, and lemon. Everything is homemade on the premises by its parishioners. So come out and enjoy the area’s Greek food you love like moms.
