This Great Thursday evening, at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church in Philadelphia, for the Orthros of Great Friday, the service of the holy and immaculate Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ is brought to mind in Twelve Gospel Readings.
In these readings, Christ’s last instructions to his disciples are presented, as well as the prophecy of the drama of the Cross, Christ’s prayer, and his new commandment.
