Philadelphia, PA – It was a Greek affair to remember this weekend at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox church. Perfect weather on Sunday made up for Friday’s rainout and made this a perfect outing to eat, drink and be amongst a very authentic Greek community. Once you step under the big tent you’ve enter a Greek village. In fact, speaking English here get’s you a strange look.
Following church services and Greek school graduation, the Evangelismos Greek school students put on an afternoon of dancing while the lamb was being sliced and diced. From Frappe to Spanakopita and all points beyond your taste buds had a total Greek outing. Cosmos Philly’s reporters sampled it all and kept going back for more. In fact, we made a day of it.
