Vitsa, Zagori, Greece – Longing for those lost days of summer? Traveling into northern Greece, into the hills of Epirus, there is a place where the music and life your grandparents left behind has remained the same. A timeless place hidden by a blanket of clouds and a rolling green canape.
Vitsa, one of the largest villages of central Zagori, is situated at an altitude of 955 m on a mountain slope near the Vikos gorge. Famous for its old double-arched bridge of Missios and it’s music, in the summers, it becomes a place for pilgrims and the generations.
