Cherry Hill, NJ – St. Thomas Greek Orthodox church was the scene for an OXI day commemoration. This past Thursday, students, teachers and parishioners gathered inside the church. Camera’s snapped and Greek pride shined as the Greek school students recited poems and sang songs. They commemorate the rejection by Greek Prime Minister Ioannis Metaxas of the ultimatum made by Italian dictator Benito Mussolini on October 28, 1940.
