This photo was taken in March 25, 2012 in Philadelphia. Pa, during the parade of celebrating Greek Independence Day. Despite the cold weather and long hours of walking Giorgio ( my son ) and his grandmother Lilly ( my mom) were proudly representing their country with songs and waiving their flags up high. My son at the time was 5 years old and not even once did he complain about being tired or cold. His grandmother would give him words of encouragement of how great he is doing and how well he is holding the flag and how so many people were so proud of him. Giorgio is a very lucky kid to have a grandmother like Lilly. Grandparents are a present that not all kids have a chance to enjoy but Giorgio on the other hand is very blessed to have both of his grandparents. He gets loved and spoiled and that is what grandparents do. Thank you!
