Broomall, PA – The population of the Greek community shifted yesterday evening to St. Luke Greek Orthodox church, as the biggest bid and buy in the Delaware Valley took place. Some 525 guests attended the “Hooray for Hollywood” themed event, that continues to grow.
Sponsored by the Ladies Philoptochos Society of St. Luke, the event brought together what seemed to be the entire Greek community. Outside the church a lined formed to get in that wrapped around the side parking lot. Like rock concert ticket holders, the ladies of our community, both old and young poured into the one day fair.
Congratulations to Chairperson Betty Tsarouchis, the St. Luke parishioners for bringing this annual theme to fruition.
