With plenty of food, dance and music the St. Lukes Greek Orthodox Church held its 35th annual Greek Festival this past week. For 5 days the fun went on. Each day, at scheduled times, dancers from a variety of the Greek churches in the community joined hands and performed for the general public on the ground of St. Luke’s. Under the big tent a Greek Agora, dessert/sweets and souvlaki stand also kept visitors entertained.
This year, St. Lukes will be celebrated it’s 50th year this year with a dance, “The Golden Jubilee Ball”; to be held at The Hilton Hotel (October 20th ) in Philadelphia. For more information call: (Joanna Mattis) 610-527-5522 or email: yanoulla1@gmail.com.
