Valley Forge, PA – The lines for the Loukoumades were long, but they were worth waiting for. Covered in syrup and walnuts, they kept moving as fast as the volunteers could make them last night. St. Sophia’s fall festival is the first Greek festival of the season in the Philadelphia Greek community.

Inside the church hall, the food lines were even longer, as members of the surrounding community came out to enjoy home made Greek food. The dance group of course put on performances throughout the evening both inside and out. From the junior dance groups to the seniors, they performed dances from all over Greece keeping spectators smiling and clapping.
