Cherry Hill, NJ – The St. Irene Philoptochos of St. Thomas Greek Orthodox church, hosted it’s annual Bid n’ buy. The theme, “South of the Border”. Plenty of salsa and chips covered the tables as parish members ran the floor at St. Thomas. The annual event is now in its 37th year and raises funds for a variety of organizations around the country.
President Elizabeth Loudon’s efforts to carry on the tradition were well received by it’s Philoptochos parishioners that participated in service, while wearing the colors of Mexico as aprons, while men served dinner wearing sombreros.
