Egg Harbor, NJ – Thirty-Seven years is a long time to do anything. But the parishioners of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church have kept the faith and reached that milestone. In part, because of their determination. “The community here is strong, and the parishioners are dedicated. They work hard to keep our community going year after year”, said Yiannis Kyriakou, Chairman of the annual OPA, Greek Festival these past twenty-two years.

The four-day Greek festival launched yesterday to an overwhelming crowd again and goes on through Sunday. Holy Trinity has brought the culture and food of Greece to the surrounding community for many years now and is a staple of South Jersey.

The festival is a beautiful family event with so much to do and see. There are booths with a variety of food all around the campus, as well as games and rides for the kids. With plenty of free parking and live Greek dancing throughout the weekend, it’s a must-see, especially so close to the shore. Everything is homemade and fresh from the parishioners. We can’t say anything more, except – try it you’ll love it”. For more information, visit them at thegreekfestival.info.
