Upper Darby, PA – The 16th Annual ‘Tsipourovrathia’ celebration took place last Saturday, March 9, 2024, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. The event, organized by the Epirotes Society of Philadelphia in collaboration with local groups, drew a large crowd to experience Greek culture and community spirit.

The night featured traditional Greek dance performances, tsipouro, and meze. Musicians Lazaros Paraskevas and George Bezanis played the clarinet, providing live music for the event. Their performances helped bring together the Greek community of the Delaware Valley region.

In addition to the cultural festivities, the Epirotes Society awarded a scholarship to a student, highlighting their commitment to education. This philanthropic effort supports both the local community and educational initiatives in Greece.
