2013-14 PGBL Season – Week 15: Video Highlights

Upper Darby, PA. On Thursday evening, an ice storm and freezing rain knocked out power across the Delaware Valley. But inside St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, the spanakopita was fresh, the lights were on, and the games went on.

With the PGBL season heading into its final weeks, six teams faced off in a quiet gym for the second-to-last week of play.

The night opened with the Wolfpack against Rip City. Rip City kept it close early but could not hold on. Final score: Wolfpack 77, Rip City 56.

In game two, last year’s champions, the Sixers, met the winless FOB. The playoff-bound Sixers took the win. Final score: Sixers 58, FOB 49.

The final matchup saw the red-hot Kings continue their winning streak with a dominant performance over the Spartans, who have shown improvement since last year’s run as the Grizzlies. Final score: Kings 77, Spartans 33.
