Kostas (Konstantinos) Athanas of Secane, PA passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 81.

He was born in Palio Elefttohori, Katerini, Greece to Parthena (Mavridis) and Ioannis Athanasiadis.

Kostas is survived by his loving wife, Hariklia who worked by his side faithfully and supportively. He enjoyed hunting, listening to Pontian music, and telling anecdotes to his family and friends.

He was a devoted father to his son, John (Carol) Athanas, and his daughter, Nikoletta (Jose) Salas and the late Athanasios, who proceeded him in death. He was also a proud and adoring Pappou to his eight grandchildren, Haroula, Pela, Kostas, Arielle, Tereza, Dean, Leah, and Little Dean. He was notorious for bringing them not just one Σοκοφρέτα, but by the box loads. He is also survived by his siblings, Maria Kougiomtzidis and Mihalis Athanasiadis.
