Panorea Kavallieratos, born on June 2, 1960, in Karavomilos Kefalonia, Greece to Argyri and Dionysios Danalis, passed away on July 31, 2020.

Panorea was one of three siblings (Angelo and Irene) and came to the United States when she was 14 years old. At 17, she married her husband, Gerasimos Kavallieratos. Together they raised three children (Magdalini, Anastasios, and Roula).

As a young lady, she worked at the Blue Comet Restaurant for over ten years. She was so determined to learn as much as possible. Along with her husband Gerasimos, opened up Pennys Family Restaurant and worked together every day for 27 years. She loved her customers and treated them like family. During Easter and Christmas, she would bake Greek traditional cookies and give them out to her customers.

She was a people person. She always went out of her way to help whomever she could, with a smile on her face. Panorea was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked very hard and never gave up.

Panorea is survived by her parents Argyri and Dionysios Danalis. Her husband of 43 years Gerasimos Kavallieratos, daughters Magdalini (Tom), Roula (Thoma) son Anastasios and six beloved grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She is also survived by her brother Angelo (Laura) sister Irene (Chris), aunt and uncle Irene and Peter Stefanatos, cousins Kathy (George) Angelo (Kathy), her brother and sister-in-laws Pete (Zoi), George (Ourania), Bobby (Angeliki), Dionysi (Katerina), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and more family in Kefalonia.

Due to the current social distancing requirements, the funeral services will be limited to immediate family at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and interment at Fernwood Cemetary. A face mask is mandatory.
