Anastasia Zannis leads the audience in singing the National Anthem during Greek Heritage Night, which is sponsored annually by the American Hellenic Institute in Washington, DC. Zannis, a cross-over classical singer, took the National Anthems of both countries in a direction all her own and evoked a sense of pride that captivated both Greeks and Americans.
