The Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley presents “An Afternoon at Fort Mifflin”.

The AHEPA is honoring all police and retired police personnel with the new AHEPA Heroes Medal at Fort Mifflin. Fort Mifflin is the site of the first Marine barracks that raised funds for the Greek cause in the 1820s.

The event will take place this Saturday, April 10th, 2021, from 12 pm to 4 pm. Admission is $8 per person. Cash is preferred. Gates will open at 10 am.

The day will also feature a wreath-laying and special commemoration for the Greek Bicentennial, and a tour of the facility. All first responders, police, and military veterans will receive a special recognition newly minted Heroes Medal from AHEPA Supreme President George Horiates.
