Christos Tsiodoulos was born in Demati, Greece, on October 3, 1956, to loving parents George (deceased) and Giannoula (Botsaris). He was the beloved brother of Eleni and Stefanos Tsiouris and the treasured uncle of Maria Tsiouris.
Chris grew up in Philadelphia, where his family made their home in 1966. Chris, known as Chad to many, made friends, easily cultivating deep friendships with the boys who came from Greece at the same time as he did and with neighbors, coworkers, and the many doctors and nurses who became part of his daily life throughout his illness. Chris was a postal carrier by profession and a self-taught iconographer. He enjoyed painting icons for family and friends and leaves behind a collection of treasured pieces in many homes. Chris spent many weekends enjoying hunting and fishing with his brother-in-law Stefanos and their friends.
Chris passed away on April 7, 2021, after a long and difficult battle with cancer. Chris fought his illness with strength and determination, never succumbing to his illness’s pain and distress. Chris is survived by his mother Giannoula (Botsaris), his sister Eleni (and Stefanos) Tsiouris, his niece Maria Tsiouris, his cousins Kostas (and Miranda) Koulas, Gianna Koula, Lambrine, and James Econome, Toula (and Athanasios) Bazoukas, Sophia (and Napoleon) Kostantinidis, Mary Lee Botsaris and many friends and relatives in the US and Greece
