Helen “Eleni” Foster, 43, of Perkasie, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021. She had been hospitalized for several weeks while battling lung issues brought on by her battle with COVID-19. She was born on November 28, 1977, in Philadelphia, the daughter of Dimitrios and Ekaterini Giannoumis.

Eleni had two siblings Maria and Elias. She was a proud sister and was every bit the ideal older sibling a parent could hope for. Eleni attended Laura H. Carnell Elementary School and then went on to attend Samuel Fels for high school. Following graduation, Eleni went to Empire Beauty School. During her adult years, Eleni followed in her father’s footsteps and worked in the restaurant industry and later went on to work as a baker.

In 2001 she met the love of her life, Brian Foster, and they were married at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in October 2004. They had two beautiful children Dimitri and Melina, born in 2007 and 2010. Eleni exemplified what it meant to be a good mother, and she dedicated all her time & energy to their upbringing. Eleni was also a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, and niece. Her smile brightened the lives of those around her; it was a part of her warm and caring personality that will truly be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Eleni’s Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, April 22, from 6 to 8 PM at Boyd-Horrox- Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Eleni’s funeral service and burial will be private.
