On Sunday, January 9, 2022, His Grace Bishop Apostolos of Medeia will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church in Cherry Hill, NJ, and present the new presiding priest, the Very Reverend Archimandrite Fr. Avgoustinos Psomas, to the Congregation.
Fr. Avgoustinos received this assignment by the Patriarchal Vicar of the Metropolis of New Jersey, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, after the appointment of Fr. Christoforos Oikonomidis as the full-time Chancellor of the Holy Metropolis of New Jersey.
Following the Divine Liturgy, His Grace will swear in the new Parish Council and bless the annual Vasilopita.
