Philadelphia, PA – Hellenic Hearts, the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Hellenic-Americans and preserving Hellenic heritage in the Greater Philadelphia area, is proud to announce its highly anticipated annual weekend of giving and celebration this June. 1, 2, 2025.

The festivities commence with the prestigious Hellenic Hearts Annual Gala on Sunday June 1, 2025 at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. This signature event will honor Michael Bapis with the distinguished Philotimo Award, recognizing his exemplary leadership and philanthropic contributions to the Hellenic community. The Gala will bring together prominent members of the Greek-American community for an evening of inspiration, philanthropy, and cultural pride, all in support of Hellenic Hearts’ vital programs.

The weekend continues on the following Monday with the organization’s annual Golf Outing at Fieldstone Golf Club in Wilmington, Delaware. This event, featuring acclaimed New York City comedian Nick Callas, promises a day of camaraderie, entertainment, and fundraising for Hellenic Hearts’ educational and emergency aid initiatives.

Proceeds from both events will directly benefit the Filodoxia Scholar Program, which provides academic scholarships, mentorship, and networking opportunities for Hellenic youth, as well as emergency financial assistance and support for Hellenic institutions such as Hellenic College Holy Cross, St. Basil’s Academy, Project Mexico & St. Innocent Orphanage, and others.

John Aivazoglou, founder and president of Hellenic Hearts, emphasized the organization’s mission: “Our scholarships represent a strategic investment in the future of our Hellenic community, bridging our rich cultural heritage with the innovative potential of the next generation.”

Hellenic Hearts invites the community to join this weekend of celebration, unity, and service. Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels, with all proceeds directly supporting the organization’s impactful programs.
