Greek professionals and their families across the Delaware Valley have a rare chance this winter to explore career opportunities back home. The Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Security will host its ReBrain Greece networking event on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the New York Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway.
The New York gathering is part of a national effort to turn Greece’s decade-old brain drain into a true “brain gain,” bringing together over 40 leading Greek employers and government representatives to connect with highly skilled members of the Greek diaspora considering a return.
A Bridge for Greek Talent Abroad
ReBrain Greece showcases openings across finance, technology, energy, healthcare, shipping, law, and tourism, and highlights new incentives to ease a return, including a 50 percent income-tax reduction for up to seven years, fast-track recognition of professional qualifications for regulated fields such as medicine, and guidance on relocation and social-security procedures.
Minister of Labor Niki Kerameus will open the day with remarks on Greece’s changing labor market and the success of earlier “Career Days” in Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, London, and Stuttgart, which drew more than 5,000 Greek professionals and 120 business delegations. A policy panel will follow, focusing on building “return bridges” between Greek companies and the global diaspora.
Companies Ready to Hire
Employers already confirmed include Aegean Airlines, Alpha Bank, Deloitte, EY, Eurobank, National Bank of Greece, Piraeus Bank, Titan Group, Lamda Development, Helleniq Energy, Athens Medical Group, and many more. Company booths and one-on-one interviews will run throughout the day, giving participants direct access to recruiters.

How to Take Part
Greek professionals abroad can register and upload their CVs at the ReBrain platform or through the Idloom event portal. After creating a profile, candidates select the companies they wish to meet and can secure limited interview slots.
