The holiday season is here, and St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Media is ready to welcome families for one of its most joyful traditions — Brunch with Santa, presented by the St. George Media Philoptochos.
The event will take place on Saturday, December 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E Forge Road, Media, PA.
Guests are invited to bring their cameras or phones for free pictures with Santa and can sign up in advance to reserve a time slot: forms.gle/ZUwoiAv4bF1pSuen7. Those who sign up will be prioritized for photos, so early registration is encouraged.
The brunch buffet will feature America’s favorites, pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, breakfast meats, pizza, and a comforting serving of avgolemono (Greek chicken noodle) soup.
Tickets are $5 for ages 12 and under and $20 for ages 13 and up, including beverages and hot chocolate for kids.
Guests can also enjoy Greek sweets and pastries available for purchase, including spanakopita, baklava, pasta flora, kourabiedes, koulourakia, galaktoboureko, melomakarona, and rice pudding. Specialty coffee options will also be offered throughout the day.
In addition to brunch, visitors can shop from a variety of holiday vendors for Christmas gifts and browse the used book section, while kids enjoy crafts, face painting, and holiday tattoos.
Festive attire is encouraged, and the most creative outfit of the day will win a door prize.
All proceeds benefit church ministries and local charities, helping St. George continue its mission of service and community support throughout the season.
