St. George Cathedral in Philadelphia is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Greek dance teacher to lead its Asteria and GOYA youth dance groups.
The Cathedral’s dance program has long been a cornerstone of parish life, giving young people the chance to learn traditional Greek dances, perform at community and Metropolis events, and celebrate their cultural heritage through movement and fellowship.
Qualified candidates must be 18 years or older, have prior experience teaching or performing Greek dance, and bring a genuine passion for Greek culture and youth mentorship. A mentor will be available to provide support and guidance for those stepping into the role.
“This position is about more than choreography,” said a parish volunteer. “It’s about building confidence, pride, and connection to our traditions — helping the next generation keep Hellenic culture alive.”
Those interested can contact the Cathedral Office at office@stgeorgecathedral.org for more information.
