Albertos Elefterios Plevrakis passed away on December 23, 2025, at Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation, at the age of 78.
He was born in 1947 in Athens, Greece, to Elefterios and Maria (Halkipoulos) Plevrakis. After completing high school, Albertos served four years in the Greek Army before working as a merchant marine. He later settled in the United States, where he built a long and steady career in the restaurant industry.
For more than forty years, Albertos worked as a restaurant manager at various locations. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and consistency, qualities that defined both his professional life and the way he carried himself.
Albertos is survived by his sons, Anastasios Plevrakis (Allison) and Elefterios Plevrakis; his brother, Nicholas Plevrakis; his sister, Aspasia; and his granddaughter, Ariana Plevrakis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Anna and Sofia.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Reading, Pennsylvania. A viewing will take place at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Charles Evans Cemetery.
