A festive Apokriatiko Glendi will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, bringing families and community members together for an evening of celebration ahead of the Lenten season.
The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the church, located at 1200 Klockner Road, Hamilton, New Jersey. Open to all ages, the glendi is designed as a community-centered evening with food, music, dancing, and fellowship.
The night will include a full cash bar, appetizers, desserts, DJ-led dancing, and raffle prizes. The evening will also recognize Mr. Nicholas (Nick) Chingas and Mrs. Aglaia Parliaros as special honorees.
Admission is $60 for adults, $30 for GOYAns (ages 13–18), and $25 for children 12 and under. Reservations are required by February 1, 2026. Reservations may be made on Sundays at a community center table or by contacting the organizers directly.
The event is organized by the church’s Stewardship Committee, with support from AHEPA, Daughters of Penelope, GOYA, Philoptochos, and the PTO. Proceeds from the evening will benefit capital improvement projects at St. George, as well as charitable projects within the Orthodox Church of Korea.
