The St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral Philoptochos will host a community fundraiser this spring as part of celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The event, titled “Star Spangled Bid N’ Buy,” is organized by the cathedral’s “Ai Myrophori” Philoptochos Society and will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the cathedral in Philadelphia.
The evening will bring together members of the local community for a bid-and-buy style fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the charitable work of Philoptochos. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the ticket price includes dinner, beverages, and dessert.
