St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Media will hold its annual Taste of Greece Food Festival from Thursday, September 24, through Sunday, September 27, at 30 E. Forge Road. The event continues a festival the parish has held for decades.
The festival opens Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m., continues Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and closes Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. It will be held rain or shine under a covered tent.
The menu will feature homemade Greek specialties, pastries and sweets, along with beer, wine and spirits. Admission and parking are free, according to the festival flyer.
Live Greek music, a DJ and Greek folk dancing are planned during the four-day festival. The flyer also lists vendor booths and raffles, while the festival website includes a kids zone.
