PGBL Week 11

January 5, 2012 – The Cherry Hill Change-Up

This week in the PGBL brought plenty of excitement, with a mix of expected outcomes and a few surprises.

The Kings strengthened their grip on first place by ending the Knicks’ six-game winning streak, making a clear statement about their dominance this season.

The Terps also came away with a solid win, defeating the Grizzlies. Still in search of their first victory, the Grizzlies continue to struggle in their PGBL expansion year.

But the biggest headline of the night came from Arseniko. Playing without a full roster, they stepped up in a big way and outperformed a full-strength Revolution team on their home court. Stefanos Grigorakakis led the charge, putting on a scoring clinic with 39 points and sealing a statement win for Arseniko.

It was a night of shake-ups and standout efforts — one that could shift the momentum heading into the second half of the season.
