On Easter Sunday, Cosmos Philly took a trip into it’s extended southern reach, Elkton, Maryland where we found the Kalaitzoglou and Karolidis annual family Easter being celebrated with a traditional lamb spit scene right in the driveway as we entered. We were welcomed by family members with a traditional “Xristos Anesti” and immediately directed towards the food. Add a bit of Pontian Lyra and daoul and there you have it, Easter “A la Pontos”.
