Paschal Iconography And Religious Freedom

The Order of Saint Andrew, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, gathered at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, for a special event focused on faith and religious freedom. Held in suburban Philadelphia, the gathering featured a discussion titled The Quest for Religious Freedom.

Speakers included Archon Dr. Anthony Limberakis; Dr. Anton Vrame, Director of the Department of Religious Education for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America; and His Eminence Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey. The presentations focused on two key themes: Pascha to Pentecost: Visions of Renewed Faith and Renewed Life and The Quest for Religious Freedom, each addressed in separate talks by the presenters.

After lunch, attendees were given a tour of the newly opened Byzantine-style church of St. Sophia, which served as an inspiring setting for continued conversation and reflection.
