Now in its fifth year, the Adult Philadelphia Greek Basketball League tipped off its 2025 season this past Thursday evening at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.
The opening night began with a ceremonial blessing from Father Nektarios Kottros, parish priest of St. Demetrios, who welcomed players and attendees and offered words of encouragement for a safe and competitive season.
