The Society of Epirotes of Philadelphia, “Omonia,” hosted a luncheon in honor of Dr. John Lambris at the Adelphia Restaurant in New Jersey. Dr. Lambris is affiliated with the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he specializes in therapeutic research aimed at curing various diseases. His research group has been funded by the National Institutes of Health for over 30 years, receiving more than $45 million in grants.
