Cherry Hill, NJ – The junior Orthodox Youth and Hellenic Orthodox Primary Enrichment of the Delaware Valley Region, joined hands this past weekend in a walk-a-thon. Hosted at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox church, the members of HOPE and JOY marched in the gymnasium and raised funds for “Hands of Humanity” Project in Haiti. Dressed in their favorite Philly sports team shirts and jerseys, the pre-teens walked around the gym gaining stickers and points. Each circle gained them funds that were donated by the Greek community sponsors and friends. This was the first hosted event of this type.
