Broomall, PA. America’s oldest Hellenic track meet returns on Sunday, May 4, at Upper Darby High School. Now in its 37th year, the event invites the Greek community — through its churches and organizations — to enjoy a free day of fun and competition.
The annual meet is a cornerstone of Greek-American life in the area and is organized by AHEPA Thermopylae Chapter 445.
Opening ceremonies begin at 1:00 p.m. on the high school field, followed by medal presentations and plenty of food.
Several years ago, the event was renamed the AHEPA Thermopylae Chapter 445 Annual James D. Tanos – Theophilos Constantinidis Pan-Hellenic Track Meet in honor of the founders who first brought it to life.
