Skaters perform stunts in front of Alexander the Great’s statue in the northern Greek port city of Thessaloniki. A modern statue of Alexander, mounted on the rearing Bucephalus, overlooks the Thermaic Gulf at Thessaloniki, the city founded by Cassander, one of Alexander’s successors.
