Cherry Hill, NJ – Philoptochos Brings Fiesta Flair to 37th Annual Bid ‘n Buy
The St. Irene Philoptochos of St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church brought color, music, and community spirit to life with its 37th annual Bid ‘n Buy, hosted this year under the festive theme “South of the Border.”
Guests were greeted with tables decked out in vibrant colors, bowls of salsa and chips, and a lively atmosphere as parishioners filled the St. Thomas community hall. Philoptochos members donned colorful aprons in the spirit of the evening, while the men served dinner with good humor—and sombreros.
President Elizabeth Loudon led the event with passion and purpose, helping to continue a decades-long tradition that supports charitable causes across the country. Raffle baskets, friendly competition, and shared laughter made for a memorable night of giving and celebration.
