Cherry Hill, NJ – Bingo, Bags & Baklava Draws Hundreds for a Night of Fun and Fundraising
Each year it gets bigger—and sweeter. The much-anticipated Bingo, Bags & Baklava fundraiser returned last night to St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church, drawing nearly 400 women from across the Delaware Valley for an evening of games, laughter, and giving.
The annual event supports St. Thomas Youth Ministries, with all proceeds going toward programs that serve the church’s youngest members. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, baklava, and cocktails while vying for designer handbags raffled and bingoed off throughout the night.
It wasn’t just about the prizes—it was about community. Laughter echoed through the hall, raffle tickets filled the baskets, and table after table was abuzz with conversation and excitement.
As one guest put it, “It’s the perfect mix of fun and purpose. We come for the bags, but we stay for the cause.”
