Well if it’s authentic it’s from Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church Festival on Bustleton ave, in Northeast Philadelphia. Evangelismos is known for their homemade authentic Greek food, right down to the Filo pastry, being made by hand. That’s right, by hand for the general public. It was a trying weekend for the parrish members who lost their spiritual leader, Reverend Prokopios Nikas this past Sunday. Quietly, the festival continued and the members came together to continue with their annual traditional Greek Festival. Our hearts and prayers are with these astonishing fellow Hellenes and we thank them for a wonderful and yet trying weekend.
