Upper Darby, PA – They danced the night away at the 75th anniversary. The Pontian Akrita of Philadelphia hosted it’s annual Thanksgiving weekend dance this past Saturday at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church. Pontian music filled the air and the youth group put on a performance that brought on a great sense of pride for the community. Some 700 guests attended and enjoyed the night that featured Pontian singer Giannis Kourtidis from Greece.
