The turkey may have settled, but the energy on the court was anything but sluggish. Coming off the holiday break, the PGBL returned Thursday night with a full slate of scrappy, hard-fought matchups. Fast breaks, physical defense, and tight scores defined the evening — with the headline game between Danny’s Boys and Rip City leaving fans wanting more.
Game 1: Warriors 51 – Spartans 43
The night tipped off with the Warriors and Spartans going head-to-head in a fast-paced opener. Both teams pushed the tempo, but neither could fully capitalize on scoring opportunities, with missed layups on both ends keeping the game close.
