June 9, 2012 – Graduation season was in full swing, and Cosmos Philly dropped by one of the community’s biggest celebrations. Louie Karapanagiotides of Upper Darby had just graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and his family and friends gathered at St. Demetrios to celebrate the milestone.
After a few words of thanks and a toast to everyone who supported him along the way, Louie shared a few touching reflections on his journey. There were happy tears on the faces of his brother Evan and his mother Jamie as they watched him speak.
Then the party truly began. The local Greek band Seizmos had everyone on their feet, and even Father Teddy Karas joined his sons on the dance floor. Cosmos Philly was there to capture the laughter, the music, and the love that filled the night.
