At the stroke of midnight Holy Saturday transitions to Easter Sunday. The petite Greek Orthodox church of Evangelismos of Theotokos (Bustleton Ave.) celebrates Easter with a big bang. Parishioners reenact a firework tradition which hails from the Island of Chios. Candles are lit while listening for the bells to chime.
