Mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a weekend celebrating Hellenism. St. George Greek Orthodox church in Media is hosting its annual fall festival. Starting October 1st and running through the 4rth, a feast for the senses will take place.
Whether you’re under the big tent or inside the church hall, the parishioners will serve it up authentic as can be. Souvlakia, spanakopita, gyros, and much much more of the Greek food you know and love will be on homemade and served fresh.
Check out their fabulous menu online and beat the lines by ordering ahead. Or, come out to the church and enjoy the atmosphere Hellenes are famous for. Try a sweet pastry and Greek coffee while watching the area’s best traditional Greek folk dancers perform throughout the weekend.
Stroll through the Greek Agora and shop for traditional goods, while listening to live Greek music. Tour our church and see our Byzantine iconography. There are games and rides for the kids and plenty of free parking. It makes for a perfect weekend for family and friends to join together.
