Gus Samuel Konugres, Jr., age 55, a resident of Newtown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 surrounded by his family, friends and the love of his life, Eleni after a valiant two year battle with a rare T-cell lymphoma.
He was born May 3, 1960 in Los Angeles, CA.
Loving husband of Eleni (Hadgimallis) Konugres, whom he married June 3, 1984; beloved father of Margo, Patra, and Constantine Konugres; devoted son of the late Gus and Margo Konugres; dear brother of George (Maria) Konugres and Sam (Sophia) Konugres; Christine, his father’s wife, who loved him dearly; beloved son-in-law of Gus and Letsa Hadgimallis; loving brother-in-law of Patra (the late Paul Pavlishin) and Peter (Tina) Hadgimallis; adored uncle of George, Constantina and Yanni Konugres, Alexandra and Nicholas Pavlishin, and Kiki, Markella, and Gussie Hadgimallis; cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, koumbari, godchildren and extended uncle to many other nieces and nephews.
Gus was raised in Los Angeles, CA and was a graduate of Beverly Hills High School. He loved supporting his three children in all of their activities and endeavors. He kept busy in the winter snow-blowing his driveway; and in the summer tending to his pool. Gus was a pillar of the Annunciation/Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church Community, where he served as Parish Council President and the church’s Greek Festival Chairman. He always found the time to support church projects from everyday maintenance to large projects. He treated everyone with respect and dignity. Above all, Gus was a man of great faith; who devoted himself to Christ, family, friends and the church community.

Funeral: Monday, November 9th, 11:00 am
