August 14th, 2012. The Greek community of St. Demetrios in Upper Darby held liturgy service marking the final day in preparation for the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos. Father Nektarios conducted the evening service, (Greek: Κοίμησις Θεοτόκου, Koímēsis, often anglicized as Kimisis) that concluded with the epitafio being carried down Powell Lane with it’s congregation in close proximity.
